Ensuring Efficiency, Maximizing Meticulousness

OUR EQUIPMENT

Heavy Construction and Engineering Equipment is essential no matter what the nature of the project is, be it large-scale commercial projects, multi-storied office buildings, residential colonies over a vast space of land or even extended railway projects. At Suvastu Engineering Limited we have a fleet of construction equipment & machineries, and our own workshop, which helps us to complete our projects ‘on-time’ and ‘with international standards’; ‘minimizing the cost’ all along.

Ready-Mix Concrete Mixers

With the increasing demand in homogenously mixed concrete in the shortest possible time, Ready-Mix Concrete Mixers are one of our greatest assets.

Steel Shuttering

Suvastu is constructing fair-faced buildings and for that we use our own Steel Shuttering. We are also using them in our public construction projects.

Pile Rigs

There is no compromise in the quality of our works as we use our own pile rigs to ensure the foundation beneath the ground is as strong as the structure over.

Concrete Vibrator

After the cement is mixed evenly, it is also important that it is poured evenly and that there are no air bubbles, so that the concrete is strong and has a smooth finish.

Pick Up Trucks

A fleet of Pickup Trucks of 5-ton capacity or more, used in transporting materials to and from the construction sites.

Backhoe Loaders

Our Hydraulic Backhoes are convenient in multipurpose activities at the construction sites from excavation to clearing up wastes or loading and unloading.

Steel Scaffolding

We have our very own steel scaffolding to work at large scale projects which is quality tested according to the ISO guidelines ensure constant safety.

Excavators

Used for excavation or cutting and filling in both large- and small-scale constructions like residential or commercial projects, or in road and mass rapid transit construction sites.

Heavy Lifting Cranes

For our High Rise Commercial and Residential Construction Projects we are using our Heavy Lifting Cranes, equipped with elevators.

Construction Managers are also known as Site Engineers or Construction Engineers. They have hands on experience about the construction and other related matters related to the jobsite. Construction Engineers are expected to check building materials to ensure the project can last for years, they are also expected to know about the design fundamentals, construction project management, and construction planning.

On the other hand, Civil Engineers are expected to know the fundamentals of load-bearing structures, statistical analysis, and construction techniques. They must have in depth knowledge about all the national and sometimes even international building codes. For Bangladesh, a Civil Engineer must know about the BNBC Codes, RAJUK Rules, among others.

Construction sites have a lot of health hazards and everyone present at the site must ear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs). According to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the main PPE categories are as follows:

  1. Eye and Face Protection
  2. Foot Protection
  3. Hand Protection
  4. Head Protection
  5. Hearing Protection

The Bangladesh National Building Codes (BNBC) are followed to make the buildings safe from natural disasters like earthquakes, storms etc. Chapter 2 of BNBC Part 6 is specific regarding this matter where the dead load, live load, wind, and earthquake loads, miscellaneous loads and their various combinations are being discussed.

Earthquake Resistant Building Designs are discussed in Chapter 2.5.2 of BNBC Part 6.

To obtain RAJUK approval of building plans, there are several procedures to be followed. Initially there are 4 steps among which the last 2 points are mandatory.

  1. Land Use clearance which is applicable for unplanned area
  2. Special Project permit for large or specialized projects. This determined by the Town Planner. And for this, application form 201 needs to be filled up.
  3. Building Permit
  4. Occupancy Certificate

For each of the above steps there are necessary documents and procedures that needs to be fulfilled which can be found on their site.
